Here are some deals we found for Veterans for Veterans day, check with your local franchise as all may not honor these deals.

Please note this list may not be all-inclusive and we will add more as we find them. Also remember most establishments require proof of service, ID Card(VA or CAC), DD214 etc.

 

2015 Veterans Day Restaurant Offerings:

 

Applebee’s
At participating Applebee’s on 11-11-2015, Veterans and Active Duty Military can select a free meal from a limited menu for Veteran’s Day. Provide proof of service required.

Bar Louie Free Lunch or Dinner
On Wed., Nov. 11th, 2015 every Bar Louie location across the country will offer veterans and military personnel a free meal up to a $12 value when they show valid military I.D. or other proof of service.

Bob Evans
On Veterans Day 11-11-15, Veterans and active military personnel will receive a choice of free select breakfast menu items (stack of hotcakes, Fresh Baked Brioche French Toast, Sunrise Breakfast, Country Biscuit Breakfast, Mini Sampler Breakfast) at its restaurants. All these honored servicemen and women need do is show proof of service, including U.S. Uniformed Services (current or retired) Identification Card, a current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), or a Veterans’ organization card (American Legion or VFW, for example). Guests wearing a military uniform on Veterans Day also are eligible.

Bonanza Steakhouse
All former and current military service men and women enjoy a free buffet (beverage not included) from 4pm – close on Nov. 11, 2015, at all participating Bonanza Steakhouses. Contact your local Bonanza for more details.

Carrabba’s Free Appetizer
All active and retired veterans receive a free appetizer at participating locations on Monday, November 9th through Sunday, November 15th.

City Barbeque
One free half pound sandwich platter will be given to each veteran for either dine-in or carryout orders on 11-11-2015. At participating locations only.

Cotton Patch Free Meal
Free meals to veterans of Veterans Day.  Choice between a chicken fried steak or chicken fried sandwich.

Denny’s All You Can Eat Pancakes
On Wednesday, November 11th, all active, inactive and retired military personnel at all participating Denny’s restaurants nationwide will receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast.

FATZ Cafe
FATZ Cafe salutes our Veterans and Active Military with a free entrée on Veterans Day. On Nov. 11 from 11 AM to close present your Military ID and enjoy a free world famous Calabash Chicken meal.

Friendly’s Free Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner
Friendly’s is treating veterans and active military, with a valid military ID or honorable discharge card, to a free dine-in breakfast, lunch or dinner from select menus on Veteran’s Day, 11.11.15. The breakfast choice is their Big-Two-Do’s® array of breakfast options, and the lunch and dinner option is the All American Burger with fries and a beverage (soda, iced tea or hot beverage).

Golden Corral
On Wednesday November 11, 2015, Golden Corral offers a free sit-in “thank you” dinner for Military veterans, retirees, and active duty members.

Green Mill Restaurant and Bar
Veterans and Active Duty Military will receive a free lunch or dinner dine-in meal at participating locations on Veterans Day Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Must show proof of service, and beverages and gratuity are not included in free meal.

Grub Burger Bar
Veterans, Retired Military, and Active Duty members with a military ID will receive 50% off of their meal, plus a free  Caramel Apple shake for Veterans day this year on Wed. 11/11/2015.

Hoss’s Family Steak & Sea House Free Meal
Hoss’s is serving up their “American Value” meals absolutely free for veterans on Wed., Nov. 11th, from 11 A.M. to 9 P.M. Valid I.D. is required.

Little Caesars
Free Crazy $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch combo from 11am-2pm at participating Little Caesars Pizza locations for US Veterans and Active Military on 11.11.2015. Must present a valid military ID.

Longhorn Steakhouse Free App
Receive a complimentary Texas Tonion appetizer and a non-alcoholic beverage on Nov. 11. Includes veterans and current service members.

Max & Erma’s Free Cheeseburger Combo Meal with Dessert
On Veterans Day, participating Max & Erma’s locations are celebrating veterans and active military personnel with a free three course combo.

McCormick and Schmick’s Free Entree
On Sunday, November 8th, 2015 enjoy a complimentary entree. All veterans must show official verification. Entrees must be enjoyed at the restaurant.

Mission BBQ
Veterans and active-duty military will get a free sandwich and cake (while supplies last)on Veterans Day 11/11/15.

O’Charley’s Free Meal
On Monday, November 9th, all veterans and all active-duty military personnel will have their choice of one of nine meals on the O’Charley’s “$9.99er” menu. Options include O’Charley’s Famous Chicken Tenders & Twisted Chips, Cowboy Sirloin, Homestyle Chicken Pot Pie and Santa Fe Tilapia, among others.

Olive Garden Free Meal
On Wednesday, November 11, 2015 all veterans and military active duty will receive a free meal including entrees, freshly baked garlic breadsticks and a choice of unlimited soup or salad.

On The Border Free Entree
This Veterans Day, all veterans and active duty military will receive a FREE meal at OTB’s on Wednesday, Nov. 11th, ’15. The meal is from the”Create Your Own Combo menu,” which is a “choose 2” or “choose 3” menu  (valued up to $10.79).

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt
All veterans, retired and active-duty military personnel receive one free cup of froyo, up to 11 ounces, on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11th, 2015. To claim the offer, customers should provide proof of military service, such as a military ID card, uniform photo, honors, badges, or come dressed in their military uniform.

Outback Steakhouse Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage
All active, retired military and veterans get a Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage on Veterans Day. Must have valid identification. There is also a military discount of 15% off the total check from November 12th thru December 31st, 2015, valid for military members and their families.

Shoney’s Offers Free All-American Burger
Shoney’s says ‘Thank You’ to America’s heroes by offering a Shoney’s All-American Burger and fries to all Veterans and Active Duty Military members on Veterans Day, 11 November 2015.

Spaghetti Warehouse Buy 1 Get 1 Free Meal
From Monday, Nov. 9 through Wednesday Nov. 11, 2015, Spaghetti Warehouse is honoring veterans with a special “buy one entree, get one free” coupon offer and is encouraging its guests to “invite a veteran to lunch or dinner.” This coupon will be available on the Spaghetti Warehouse website on Nov. 3, and can be printed or presented by mobile phone.

Tijuana Flats
Veterans and active-duty military eat free on Veterans Day.

Twin Peaks
Select locations offer a free menu item for Veterans and active duty military from their annual Veterans Day menu on Wednesday 11/11/15. Present valid military ID to receive offer.

Village Inn Free Breakfast
All who have served get a free breakfast on Veterans Day, available all day long. Choose between Buttermilk Pancakes, three slices of French Toast or a Belgian Waffle. Village Inn is also thanking veterans with a “Thank You for Your Service Card”, which is a 20% discount off the total bill for the next time they visit a Village Inn. This year, Veterans Day falls on Free Pie Wednesdays, so be sure to get a slice (with any purchase) between 10am and 10pm.

Wienerschnitzel
One FREE Chili Dog and small Pepsi for all Veterans and Active Duty with a valid military ID, or for those wearing their military uniform, on Wednesday 11-11-2015.

 McCormick & Schmick’s is celebrating their 16th annual Veteran’s Appreciation Event on Sunday, November 9th. Veterans will be able to choose a complimentary lunch or dinner entrée from a special menu. Veterans must provide proof of military service. Texas Roadhouse — Texas Roadhouse locations nationwide will offer veterans a free lunch on Tuesday, November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Offer is good for active duty, retired or former U.S. military.

Travel Centers of America — On Tuesday, November 11, all CDL drivers who are military veterans eat free at participating full-service restaurants.

2015 Veterans Day Retailer Offerings:

Alimond Studio – Veterans and active duty service members get a free headshot at Alimond Studio on Saturday, November 7 from 11 AM to 5 PM in Leesburg, VA.

Brides Across America – Brides Across America holds a wedding gown giveaway in partnership with bridal salons across the country in November to honor Veterans Day. Qualifying brides register to attend the event at a participating bridal salon by completing the registration form and paying a $20 fee. Cardiac Life — For the month of November, Cardiac Life is offering veterans $15 CPR courses.

Firestone Complete Auto Care — Between November 8 and 15, veterans and active duty personnel receive an additional 10% off the lowest advertised price of any automotive service.

Grace for Vets — Car washes from around the world who join this program offer free car washes to veterans and service members on November 11.

Great Clips – On November 11, customers who come in for a service can get a free haircut card to give to their favorite veteran. Veterans can also receive a free haircut or get the free haircut card. Haircuts are redeemable until Dec. 31.

Home Depot — Home Depot offers a 10% discount to all veterans on November 11. Home Depot offers the 10% discount year round to for active duty and retirees.

Lowe’s — All veterans receive a 10% discount on November 11. The offer is available in stores only.

Rack Room Shoes — Military personnel and their dependents get a 10% discount off entire purchase on Veteran’s Day, November 11.

Sleep Number — From October 19 through November 15, active and veteran military members will receive exclusive discounts on Sleep Number products. Save up to $700 on select Sleep Number mattress sets.

Tires Plus — Between November 8 and 15, veterans and active duty personnel receive an additional 10% OFF the lowest advertised price of any automotive service.

Wheel Works — Between November 8 and 15, veterans and active duty personnel receive an additional 10% off the lowest advertised price of any automotive service

 

 

2015 Veterans Day Events:

9/11 Memorial and Museum — The National September 11 Memorial & Museum will pay tribute to our country’s veterans during a special five-day Salute to Service from November 7 to November 11. The institution is hosting a series of events and programs for veterans and their families and the visiting public. Veterans will receive free Museum admission throughout the tribute. Special photo exhibitions, live talks and a Google Tour Builder interactive installation will be on view daily through Nov. 14.

Additionally, all are welcome to attend a special ceremony on Monday, Nov. 10 that will include a wreath-laying on the memorial and the tying of yellow ribbons to the Survivor Tree. On Veterans Day Nov. 11, yellow roses will be placed on the names of 9/11 victims who served in the U.S. military.

America’s Parade — Veterans are invited to march in this New York City parade on November 11. This year’s Parade will commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War II and the 25th Anniversary of Desert Shield. The United States Navy is this year’s featured military branch. The Army, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard are also represented.

The parade is preceded by the traditional opening ceremony at the Eternal Light Monument (5th Avenue at 24th Street, next to Madison Square Park. The ceremony begins at 10:00 AM and concludes with a wreath-laying at 11:00 AM.

National Veterans Day Ceremony — The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held on November 11th at Arlington National Cemetery. The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by veterans’ organizations and remarks from dignitaries.
