Fox News reports that Jane Fonda has told the Veterans that are calling for a boycott to her upcoming movie to “Get a Life.” Jane was cast as former First Lady Nancy Reagan in Lee Daniels’ forthcoming film “The Butler.”

The movie also boasts some other well know actors, like John Cusack who plays Richard Nixon, Robin Williams as Dwight Eisenhower, Forest Whitaker as Cecil Gaines, and even Lenny Kravitz as James Holloway.

The movie’s plot takes a look at the life of Eugene Allen, who served under eight presidents as the White House’s head butler from 1952 to 1986, and had a unique front-row seat as political and racial history was made.

But Reagan fans were not pleased. Now, with the biographical due to hit theaters in October, a movement to boycott the movie is gaining some momentum according to Fox. Larry Reyes, a Navy Veteran founded the Facebook page Boycott Hanoi Jane Playing Nancy Reagan, has been very vocal about the casting decision.

“Growing up in a military family I heard my father and uncles talk about what Jane did, so from an early age I knew about her history with the war and how upset veterans were about it. Yet it amazed me that people just turned their backs and kept supporting her exercise videos and movies. I made a commitment early on not to support her projects,” Reyes told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column.

“Then when I heard she was going to play such a well-liked and highly respected president’s wife, it got to me. They (the filmmakers) knew by picking Jane for the part they were going to stir up some stuff. I’m not a conservative or a liberal, I’m an American. And that was a slap in the face.”

This week, Fonda had a simple message for Reyes and the page’s fans.

“Get a life.”

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Fonda said of her casting: “If it creates hoopla, it will cause more people to see the movie… I figured it would tweak the right. Who cares?” ~Courtesy Fox News.com

You can read more about the movie here: The Butler

So I was not even born when the Vietnam war was going on, but my father served three tours, and he can not stand to even hear her name spoken around him. He told me the stories, and he told me of how he was treated when he returned home from the war. These wounds are still fresh to our Vietnam Vets, Jane may think they have forgotten. But I can assure you, these Veterans do not forget, and will not forgive something like that.

Here is the link to the Fox News article by my friend Hollie McKay: Jane Fonda Tells Veterans Boycotting Her Movie To Get A Life

Well I don’t know about you, but I am going to “Get A Life” and it will not be watching this movie. Although I believe the movie’s plot and characters are great, and i would love to see it, with her attitude towards Vets among other things, I will read the book.

Thanks to all of our Veterans and currently serving Military it is my right to not see this movie, as it is her’s to speak as she see fits.

Our friends over at thisainthell are also on the same sheet of music as we are, you can see the response they have here:Hanoi Jane To Vets: Get a Life

So whether you decide to see the movie or not, it is your choice. But I can assure you, my Father and I will probably be watching something along the lines of “Band Of Brothers”

And for our younger generation who may have not seen the photos that gave her the name “Hanoi Jane” here they are.

  1. Screw u jane!! You are a traitor and how dare they cast u as a First Lady for this movie!! You can bet NO ONE will watch this movie!! Send her azz back to Vietnam with her bukkake workout videos.

    • OH HELL!!!!!!!! Not this bitch again.I had two brothers that was in the VIet Nam war and it was bad for all our service people. I’ve already started boycotting alot of the poor excuses in hollywood. You do notice that the traitors and assholes are the ones with “money”. So they think they can say what ever they want and we are stupid enough to listen to them. All service people and vets, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for what you all and your families have had to do and go thru. WE THANK YOU ALL

    • Dear Jane

Just a few thoughts in passing:

As a Christian, will you still, today, proudly stand up and tell the world that, not only are you a Socialist, but that…”you would pray on your knees, that we would someday become Communist”? If not, why not?

You established that U.S. servicemen are war criminals. Was Henry Fonda a war criminal? Was John Kennedy?

By his own testimony, John Kerry participated in war crimes and atrocities. Why did you give him and his supporters millions of dollars during the presidential campaign?

My friend, stationed in a CAP unit less than 2 miles from mine, found a tunnel which contained boxes of clothing, supplies, and cash. It was addressed to the Communist Freedom Fighters, and came from their supporters at U.C.Berkley. There were 50,000 U.S. dollars in cash in the box. Did any of that money come from you?

As a Communist, when will you turn over to your government all your millions of dollars, your real estate, your cars, your houses, your bison? Think of how a little peasant girl would press her cheek to yours if only she had her very own bison.

The Communist Freedom Fighters with whom you share solidarity committed public gang rapes, beheadings, arsons, and mutilations, much in the same manner as Al Qaida. Do you consider Al Qaida and the Taliban to be Freedom Fighters, too? Do you give them money? Do you suport their cause? It is, after all, just a civil war. Will you make any statements on Al Jazeera?

Will you establish FTA coffee houses close to military bases and encourage current servicemen and women to desert the military like you did during Vietnam? Will you encourage them to murder their officers?

Will you meet with the leaders of the current terrorist Freedom Fighters to encourage them to continue fighting while you subvert the efforts of The United States?

Will you refer to the current active duty servicemen and women as war criminals, hypocrites, and liars?

Will you encourage losers and wanna-be-heroes who have never been in the military to testify about atrocities they “witnessed”? How about wanna-be-heroes who actually were in the theater of operations, even if only briefly?

Will you make a trip to Iraq to have your picture taken with the enemy? Will you later regret having that picture taken?

Before the beginning of World War II, the Japanese invaded China and Korea and committed the same atrocities as your Freedom Fighters. Did you support the Rape of Nanking?

Will you give financial support to any groups of subversives who plan to assassinate U.S. Congressmen?

Why do you think Vietnam veterans feel about you the way they do?

You contributed to the Communist victory in South Vietnam. Why do you choose not to live in the Communist paradise you helped to create?

Do you still believe that “the Viet Cong are the conscience of the world”?

We are aware that, because of tin soldiers and Nixon, there are 4 dead in Ohio. Can you tell me how many were dead in Duc Duc? How many were kidnapped in Dai Loc?

Do you plan to name any children after Osama Bin Laden?

I will never forget nor forgive. I want you to understand what you did. The Freedom Fighters you supported raided small villages and stole all of the food from the farmers. They forced the farmers to watch the public gang rape of their wives and daughters before murdering the entire family. They burned the villages. They cut off the right hand of every man, woman, and child in villages. They used innocent people, women and children, as shields when they ambushed U.S. forces.
I want you to lay in bed, sleepless, listening to the screams of 8 year old girls being raped to death. I want you to hear the tortured sobs of their mothers and fathers as they were forced to watch. I want you to see the glow in the distant night sky as their homes, their possessions, their lives are burned. I want you to see the little boy walking around a village with a stump where his hand used to be. I want you to see the constant fear in his eyes after watching the murder of his family by your Freedom Fighters.
I want you to understand that your financial, political, and moral support is what gave these terrorists the will to continue their tactics, even after they were beaten militarily.
I want you to understand that the men who tried to stop these murders, rapists, and terrorists are the men you call war criminals. I want you to understand that, because you successfully convinced a group of mental midgets in the United States that the Communists were heroes, there were thousands more citizens of Cambodia who were raped, tortured, and murdered.
I want you to understand that I realize your refusal to prosecute me was not a humanitarian gesture. If you had prosecuted me, you would have been forced to testify in court, under oath, about your treasonous acts.
I want you to understand that when I spit in your face, you got off easy. It could have been much worse.

      • Contrary to your statement, she is a great American hero. She risked everything she had, and everything she ever would have to protest against yet another bull crap war. In so doing she was standing WITH the troops. What about that is too cerebral for people like you? Reed, e-5, 101st airborne division, 1962-1965.

        • reed E-5, anybody can disapprove of any war & say so long & loud, BUT to go to an enemy country & entertain their troops & rat on US POW’s trying to get messages to family back home goes beyond protesting. It sucks big time. She could have gone to south vietnam & entertained our troops, but noooo, she was & is an anti-American bitch who got rich under Capitalism but supports Communism. I’m dead-set against the war in which we’re currently involved, but I’d heap rather we win it & come home instead of quitting & having to go back again.

          • While I do agree with a lot of your statement that she is an anti American bitch who took a knife to the American Troop’s spirit, she didn’t actually do the whole ratting out the troops who tried to get her to send letters nor is the story of the troop refusing to speak to her beaten true. The POW’s were allowed to write home with no issue.
But again, that being said, she did SAY a LOT of cruel things about the troops. Even her believing we should be a communist country is, IMO, a moot point. She believes we’d function better under a different Government setting. Some believe we should be a TRUE democracy rather than a republic. Others, like myself, believe this country would run a little better if we had a little bit more socialism (and no, communism and socialism are two VERY different things.) But she did say some very hurtful things about the Troops themselves, and that is something that I and a lot of other veterans will never be able to get over.
If you want to hate her, as I do, then by all means please do. But at least get your facts straight before you try to convince others.

          • Thanks for enlightening me. I still have no use for this spoiled brat, but now I will @ least piss on her if she’s on fire.

        • I agree with you, Vern Reed. Jane Fonda stood up against a war that nearly everyone at that time was against! She stood WITH the troops. There is a lot of misinformation about her. She is one of the kindest individuals you will ever meet! I for one…support Jane!

          • Hmm, this is funny to me. Not in a ‘haha’ kind of way, but more of a ‘what the F***!’ kind of way. She encouraged soldiers to kill each other. She provided financial support to our enemies. She advocated the removal of the government given by our constitution, which would legally negate both the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. SO, while taking advantage of the system, she advocated it’s downfall. This is, by definition, protected under freedom of speech. However, she gave material and psychological aid to our enemies. She advocated tactical advise on how we operate, to the best of her knowledge, as well as our social and cultural weak points. She funneled funds to enemy combatants. Miss, “I side with the soldiers,” spoke on numerous occasions about how soldiers were baby killers and murderers, and was a primary advocate of the social change that tarnished the military image by painting ALL troops with a red brush, rather than pursuing legal means to find actual criminals In the system. While she has the bill of rights, these acts are clearly defined as treason under the law. In addition, by entering the Region of North Vietnam, she violated military law, and can be tried for all of these charges in a military court.
So, yes, she did acts that do not make her brave, no responsible, nor an idol or respected person, especially since she still uses that infamy to make money via an aging hippie baby boomer generation.
If you support her, that is your choice, and if you don’t, that is ours, but don’t hail her as brave or good. TO HONESTLY be BRAVE, she would still be fighting for internal change. TO HONESTLY be GOOD, she would be poor and have shared her wealth to assist the needy, many within an hours drive of her home.
Do not praise her, pity her for her lack of constitution, moral consistency, and her own brand of hypocrisy.
And as far as THIS war, I highly suggest you do some studying. I was in Iraq, but I also pay attention. We went via 3 DIFFERENT UN security council resolutions. We also went with numerous allies. We found chemical weapons. We found contaminated war heads. We found yellow cake Uranium. Even the Communist News Network (CNN) was forced to acknowledge this in several articles. Between 2005 – 2009 multiple Tons of it were shipped from Iraq to a storage facility in Canada by the US government (we use Canadian wilderness storage for a surprising number of things.)
I am not demanding you change your views, but I DO humbly ask that you do your homework first, then state your opinion on some facts, rather than emotional cries based on what YOU want to believe, rather than what IS.
            Good day, and God bless.

  2. I am totally disappointed with your comment about “get a life”. Thank God I still have a life unlike so many of my Brothers who died for their country. You seem to be all about fame and money. The Bible states that “what does it gain a man/woman who gains the whole world but loses their soul.” You will find out in time. And God forgive me, I will not pray for you.

      • Its her right to not support a war that she does not believe in but to flaunt it in the faces of the Americans fighting it? She visited American POW’s and said some VERY harsh things to these heroes faces as they were in custody. This is probably the wrong page/ forum for you to even consider defending Jane Fonda…

      • Um… When she went to North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It doesn’t matter if she was there to protest, the fact of the matter was she was there giving them free propaganda. That is aide and comfort. I am sure you would have feel differently if she had gone to Germany in World War 2.

      • No speaking out is fine , sitting on an enemy anti aircraft gun gun singing anti-American songs with enemy soldiers we are at war with according to President Kennedy and LBJ IS TREASON and always has been, sorta like if tomorow Beyonce Knowles went to Afganistan and danced around while making a knew video while singing ” Put a ring on it with the Taliban and Al qads ” IF YOU ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO understand what giving aid and comfort to the enemy means, Maybe you should take The History of France 101, since their history is accurate

      • No, but sending money & materiel to the enemy is. Entertaining enemy troops & raising their morale is. I don’t like fighting. We ought to be committed for getting in some of thses conflicts, but once were get in, we are committed to win it & get out.

      • Uh … Collecting notes the captive soldiers gave her to pass along to family in the US and handing them to the North Vietnamese, insuring severe beatings and death for some of them. She DID aid the enemy.

        • Wow. Third comment I found so far that’s focused on the one thing that DIDN’T HAPPEN as opposed to the facts.
No one was ever beaten or abused or killed because of her. If you wanna hate her for the FACTS, by all means, please. I do. but hate her because of what she’s done. not because of folk lore.

  3. Great actress, always enjoyed her movies. Johnson/Nixon/McNamara, et al should have been on trial. I agree. It’s been 40 years. Move on. Let the dead RIP.

    • William Cooper – you’re an idiot ….. she should be prosecuted for Treason …. no, we will not move on ….. she literally caused the death of sevefral Prisoners of War in North Vietnam. You need to EMBO.

    • Mr. Cooper.. I lost family members to that war and grew up with a father who also served in it.. Move on? … they never will.. my father is 62 and lost his brother there… nightmares never end and I will never meet my uncle who gave his life.. I hope no one ever tells you to “move on” when you lose a family member…. it’s sad to me that people really place no value on people who are brave enough to serve so that you don’t have to… (Marine mom)

  4. She did aid the enemy she handed over soldiers secretly collected messages they were trying to send back so families and friends would know they were still alive. Tubthumber please look or ask before defending someone.

  5. My dad, a Canadian, served in the USAF post WWII. Even though I’m a born and raised Canadian and a 22 year veteran myself, I have a very profound hate for Hanoi Jane that was ingrained into me by my father from a very young age. She’s a disgusting piece of filth and doesn’t deserve to call herself an American. I hope she rots in hell.

  6. I remeber her being there. My brother was there also. He has told horror stories of her visit. Now she says they should “get a life”? If they came back it was limbless, mindless..never the same. Yes time has passed. But when my brother gets jumpy at noises that take him back to all the tours he served I cannot so easily forgive and forget. I agree about the treason part. She was most likely the reason prisoners were tortured and worse. Don’t put her condo in hell next to mine.

  7. that trash should not be playing the role of a real lady, she screwed her life up and she is telling us VETS to get a life fuck her,she needs a life somewhere else, actress my ass, they trusted her with their ss numbers so their family would still know they alive, she is a sick perverted person

  8. While I believe she is a traitor and have no respect for her, she is only a small part of the movie. Boycotting the movie also thumbs your nose to the other actors in the movie. I’m not saying to go to the movie but one must weigh these facts. If this move has not been made yet the pressure should be put on the producers to recast Mrs Regan.

  9. Her daddy should’ve whoop that ass all she is is lying bitch who back stabs every American Soldier out there My dad served in Nam and saw first hand the bull that she pulled someone needs to put a bullet in her brain and relieve us from her evil ways. Thanks Troy

  10. I never comment on these but MOVE ON??? REALLY? I can barely move on as a Mother of a soldier form the 101st Airborne that was injured in the Afghanistan war. Breaks my heart to think what our men and women of all wars have been through. SHUT UP JANE.

  11. I remember Jane. She spoke out against America and the Viet Nam war. What, you think we enjoyed sending our young men and women to a war zone. One where there was no clue how to fight. Our military was fighting a new kind of war, with little or no support from “spoiled” Americans at home. Then to have her go and abuse us with the enemy. Should have been shunned. Should have been prosecuted. She should have had her citizenship removed and made to stay there and live. I am appalled we honor those who wish to bring this country down. And we condemn those who give it all. You get a life Jane Fonda. I will not support anything that supports your life.

  12. My Uncle, a Marine.. died in that war and my father also a Marine served in that war.. the atrocities he speaks of breaks my heart… this woman should have been imprisoned for what she did.. when I hear her name it enrages me.. she’s disgusting. I get the whole “peace” movement and people against war.. no one likes it.. but it has to happen sometimes..

My young son is now a Marine and deployed. I will never be comfortable with his choice but am a very proud AMERICAN.. and proud of the bravery in my family.. I can’t say this about a woman who openly made mockery of our very freedoms to do so.. thanks to our brave military…. if she were in Afghanistan they would have buried her up to her head and threw rocks at her.. but luckily- she was born “free”.. thanks to the servicemen and women she openly degraded. My father got off that plane and was shamed because of people like her…

Jane Fonda is a poor excuse for an American Citizen.. ship her to Afghanistan- see what happens… boycott this movie!

  13. Good morning, Mike. 🙂

I hope you are doing well.

Too bad the bitch will never see your questions. We know she’d be SO happy to answer them honestly and as soon as possible… if she’s not too busy insulting the vet community to do so.

  14. I have several books written by Viet vets about their experiences there. Most were LRRP Rangers. One tells of a patrol in Cambodia where his team was set to ambush a VC patrol when they noticed a “buxom blonde Caucasian female” w/the VC. They didn’t spring the ambush, but I wonder in Hanoi Jane was this mysterious creature. I wouldn’t doubt it or be surprised.

  15. I have been one American that has never watched any of her movies because of her activities during the Vietnam war! Do not plan to see “The Butler”

  16. Hanoi Jane needs to get a life of her own! I nor any member of my extended family will see the movie. I almost puked the few times I saw her at Braves games with her husband

  17. Good storyline for the film, “The Butler” but with its cast I hope it flatlines. The first insult, that of Hanoi Jane playing, of all people, Nancy Reagan, is reason enough to boycott this film…and of course, Robin Williams is now irrelevant anyway…nothing can resurrect him but this movie might bury him for good. My father hated little Janie and didn’t care much for her daddy either. And brother Peter? He blew it out his butt in Easy Rider….nice family. Furthermore, I intend to look through my exercise books and videos just in case something of Jane’s might still be in my possession…if so, I’ll stomp it/them to shreds. If there IS a Hell she deserves somewhere much worse! But just think…spider woman (Janie) sucks up all the venom directed at her and THRIVES on it.

  18. I was serving in Vietnam when this slut arrived there. The only reason she is still with us is that no one could get a clean shot. She had more security than you know who!

  19. My Favorite Of All Movie Quotes Takes Place In The Final Scene Of The Flick… Jane Fonda, After Spending The Entire Film Behaving Like A Raging Twit, Scum-Bag & All-Around Dip-Shit, Asks Actor Michael Sarrazin If He Would Shoot Her… Sarrazin Calmly Grasps The Pistol And Plants A Bullet Right Into The Bastard’s Head… As He Is Later Led Into A Police Van, A Police Officer Asks Him Why He Did It…
Sarrazin’s Reply…??? (The Title Of The Film):
    “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They…???”
Oh, Where, Oh Where Is Michael Sarrazin When He Is Again Needed…!!!
